Privacy Policy

01 What is stored

• Discord identifiers — your user ID, the server (guild) ID, and the ID of the channel or message where you used a command or button.
• Hunter card details you submit — hunter name, hunter rank, weapon, platform, and any note you type.
• Lobby entries — lobby name and description, host ID, the members who joined, the open/closed state, and timestamps.

That is the complete list. There is no account, no email, no password, no payment data (there are no payments), and no stored copy of your profile picture or your message history.

02 What is never collected

AlmaBot runs on Discord's HTTP interactions and has no gateway connection, so it never receives your messages. When you use a slash command, Discord sends only the command name and the options you filled in — not the surrounding conversation. The bot cannot read channels, DMs, voice, presence, or member lists beyond what a command needs.

These pages load fonts from Google Fonts and nothing else: no analytics, no cookies, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting.

03 Why it is stored

Only to make the bot work: to render your hunter card, keep lobby lists accurate, and let a command recognise who is asking. It is not used for profiling, research, model training, marketing, or anything unrelated to those commands.

04 Where it is stored

In a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, and the bot runs on Vercel. Both are infrastructure providers acting on the operator's behalf. Database access is server-side only, using a key that never reaches a browser or Discord.

Database tables are protected by row-level security with no public policies, so the tables cannot be read through the public API at all — only the bot's own server code touches them.

05 How long it is kept

Until you remove it. Deleting your hunter card deletes the row immediately; lobby entries are removed when the lobby closes. If a card is deleted, anything derived from it goes with it.

06 Sharing

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It is disclosed only if required by law, or if necessary to respond to a credible threat to someone's safety. Nothing is shared with Capcom, Discord, or any other game company.

07 Your choices

You can view and delete your hunter card with the bot's own commands at any time. If you want a copy of everything tied to your Discord user ID, or want all of it deleted, ask the operator via the contact details below and it will be handled — normally within days. A deletion request may be refused only where the law requires the data to be kept.

08 Security

Every request from Discord is verified against the application's Ed25519 public key, so forged requests are rejected. Secrets stay in the hosting environment and are never sent to clients. That said, no system is perfectly secure: please do not type sensitive personal information into a hunter card or lobby.

09 Age

AlmaBot is not directed at children. Discord requires users to be at least 13, or older where local law sets a higher age of digital consent. If you are below that age, please do not use the bot.

10 Not affiliated with Capcom

AlmaBot is an unofficial fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Capcom Co., Ltd. or Discord Inc. Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter Wilds are trademarks of their respective owners, referenced only to describe what the bot is for.

11 Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated by editing this page and changing the date above. Material changes will be reflected here; continuing to use the bot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
